Throughout the fourth quarter of 2022, Italy's top consumer finance apps on iOS demonstrated diverse performance trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the top five apps: BPER, BancoPosta, Intesa Sanpaolo Mobile, Splitwise, and HYPE - Carta conto e app.

BPER from Gruppo BPER saw a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 75K in the week of November 28. Weekly active users also showed substantial growth, reaching around 149K in the same period, before settling at about 114K by the end of December.

BancoPosta maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, hovering around 12K to 13K per week. Active users peaked at around 324K in late September, dipped slightly in October, but recovered to stabilize at approximately 312K by the end of December.

Intesa Sanpaolo Mobile experienced a consistent download rate, averaging around 11K to 13K weekly. Active users remained relatively stable, peaking at roughly 375K in mid-December and closing the quarter at around 357K.

Splitwise from Splitwise, Inc. witnessed a stable download trend with a notable spike to about 13K in the last week of December. Active users fluctuated, starting at around 14K in late September and ending the quarter at approximately 13K.

HYPE - Carta conto e app from Banca Sella S.p.A. exhibited a steady download rate, with weekly downloads ranging from 4.5K to 5.5K. Active users saw an upward trend, reaching approximately 174K in mid-December and maintaining around 163K towards the year's end.
